September, 2013: Second Verse, Same as the First.

Again, I haven't posted much (read: "anything") to DA for quite a while. It's not that I don't love you, DA... I do.  I've just been more busy making and less busy showing. That last bit has become a serious problem. I need my work to be out in the world, but I'm terrible at getting it there. And if I'm ever going to make any kind of a living from the fruits of my labors, it first has to get out there, so the art appreciating, and art buying, people of the world can discover what an artistic badass I am. Until then, the creation process is beginning to feel masterbatory, gratifying only myself. I've quit other endeavors before because of that feeling, and I don't want this to find the same fate. I'd have nothing left.

Oh, and also, I'm going to try to be focused enough in the next few days to fully update my portfolio here. I hope you (I hope there IS a "you") enjoy the new work. I think it's some of my best and shows a growth of style and skill that I haven't experienced in years. (My own horn says, "toot! toot!")
